"The grandeur of the high ceilings and glass dome combined with a sleek decor of clean lines and soothing colours like cream, beige and red creates a refined venue without any of the usual fuss..."

Neda Hashemi, View London - January 2008
"There may be a cold wind blowing through the City at the moment, but old hands in the Square Mile know where to warm up of a morning: the former banqueting house next door to the Bank of England..."

Bill Prince, GQ Magazine - November 2007
"Service is friendly and polished, and beneath the skylight is a dramatic, well-stocked circular bar..."

N/A, Time Out Eating & Drinking Guide 2008 - September 2007
'If you're not here on business, you must be lost', as this 'prestigious' site slap bang in the middle of the Square Mile makes an 'all-round safe place for client' entertaining, with a 'classy', 'expense-account-only' New French menu and 'grand', slightly 'clinical decor'; whilst the 'noise from the Brasserie' alongside puts off some others are happy to 'go for lunch and stay all afternoon'.

Troy Segal, Zagatsurvey 2007 - September 2006
"In a startlingly stylish setting virtually opposite the Bank of England, this restaurant is an extremely accomplished and innovative venue, more than worthy of its Michelin star..."

N/A, GQ Magazine - August 2006
"The Brasserie where we dined is large, with a centrally located circular bar designed to complement the beautiful cupola directly above. The dining tables are mostly situated around the edges of the room, and are comfortable and well spaced..."

Louise Elgin, Dine Online - November 2005
"A“A typical City building with large-scale windows, opposite the bank of England. Inside there’s a busy, informal brasserie, where City workers drink wine, relax and network. There is a fine dining area in the quiet back room, with formal service. The cooking is primarily French.”

Rebecca Snelling, The AA Key Guide - December 2004
