Immortalised as a famous culinary landmark, it sits on the corner of the longest street and shortest road in the city, and shines like a beacon and acts like a magnet to Glasgow's colossal curry eating fraternity.

It's over 25 years since the first bhoona braveheart experienced the wrath of the fiery madras in the Ashoka West End. Since then, generation after generation has flocked to join the brotherhood of 'nan' and catch a piece of Glasgow's culinary heritage in what was to become the harbinger of the hugely popular Harlequin Group. Stick a tentative toe through the door...and you'll instantly be sucked in by the cosy charismatic atmosphere.
